This past winter semester, Bernd had the pleasure of spending time at the University of Innsbruck as a visiting professor, also teaching a lecture on supramolecular chemistry.
The course took students through the world of non-covalent interactions, molecular recognition, and self-assembly, connecting the underlying principles to modern research areas like biological systems and functional materials. It was great to see the students engage actively with the material and bring their own perspectives to the discussions.
Beyond the seminar room, the visit was a fantastic chance to connect with colleagues at the Department of General, Inorganic and Theoretical Chemistry in Innsbruck and exchange ideas in a truly inspiring, wonderful mountain setting. A big thank you to the Inorganic Chemistry for the very warm hospitality, especially also to Prof. Fabian Dielmann, and, of course Prof. Stephan Hohloch for the very kind invitation.
